I specialise in deep tissue, sports, restorative and remedial massage. My skill set is knowledge, strong hands, finding the issues almost instantly & swift action aiming for swift repair and recovery.
With a 22 year long career running busy practices in Wellington I'm very happy to be back in Nelson.
As a massage therapist I have been lucky enough to have worked with some amazing clients, the Royal NZ Ballet for four years, big bands including Roger Waters, Neil Young and Taylor Swift, the Opera de Paris Ballet company, the Argentinian rugby team... but my favourites are regular down to earth people just needing help to feel better. I listen and aim to give you a treatment that truly helps.

Originally from the West Coast, I practiced as a Naturopath before retraining as an Osteopath and re-locating to Nelson.
I focus on restoring the natural balance within the body, whether that be on a physical, nutritional or mental/emotional level. I combine a variety of osteopathic technics (structural & cranial) alongside exercise prescription. nutritional and lifestyle advice.
Osteopathy facilitates the bodies innate healing process by improving the structure and function of the body.
I treat patients of all ages, helping you to return to your favourite activities.
I am also studying Western Medical Acupuncture, which I incorporate into treatment with your consent.

Greetings! My name is Zohar and I am excited to join the Ruru Remedial team.
I have recently moved back to Nelson after living in Wellington for the past 15 years, where I built a successful career in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Over the last decade I have treated more than a thousand people, supporting their emotional and physical health through acupuncture, traditional diagnostic tools and empowering conversations.
I believe that our physical body reflects our internal world (thoughts, challenges, joys etc).
My role is to offer you a clear bridge between the inner and outer body, and a space for healing and connection to flow between the two.
My scope of practice includes all musculoskeletal issues, operation recovery, back pain and tennis elbow to name a few. I also treat chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, thyroid issues and migraines, insomnia, fear and depression. Working with children and babies is a joy.
I have a special interest in women's health : menopause, period problems, infertility as well as healing after sexual assault.
